Dramatic, fivolity and decoration, are all key elements of London-based designer, Eyola’s design aesthetic. With sharp focus on structure and ultra-refined silhouttes, the influence of her time working under Alexander McQueen is clear.
Eyola’s style philosophy and aesthetic is trend-averse and exclusive; interpreting the Victorian era’s opulent,
frivoulous and decorative style for the 21st century. The statement pieces caught the eye of Vogue
Italia Senior Editor, Sara Maino, who recognised Eyola as an emerging talent and
selected her for the Vogue Talents supplement in 2009.
Each collection takes the form of Octettes which comprise of eight individually crafted
and distinct designs; each with its own personality. The color scheme of the Octettes
is also heavily infuenced by the Victorians, with all eight garments being
available in a chosen bold colour that celebrates the discovery of
colourful dyes by William Perkin during that period. Eyola
creates one-of-a-kind pieces for 'haute fashion' lovers,
as well as limited edition pieces to a maximum run
of eight in a particular fabric or colour.
